Winter Family Retreat at Camp Galilee
Pine Grove will be conducting a winter retreat from Friday, March 2 to Sunday, March 4, 2012.
Where: Camp Galilee (203 Camp Galilee Lane, Haley Station, Ontario, K0J 1Y0). Camp Galilee is near Renfrew, Ontario and about 1.5 hours from Ottawa. It has been hosting retreats for over 35 years and has wonderful year-round newly upgraded facilities. Winter facilities include an ice rink, tubing, outdoor volleyball, and an indoor gym. In addition, you have the wonderful outdoors to go cross country skiing, snow shoeing, or walking around the grounds. There are short trails to enjoy nature in all its beauty.
Activities: We have arranged for Mr. Eric Stolte and his wife, Marion Stolte, to be speakers for the weekend. Eric and Marion are with The Navigators of Canada and will be bringing us messages to encourage us in relationship building and improving communication.
Registration: Please complete a registration form indicating how many people will be attending from your family and the days they will be at camp. Camp Galilee has been very accommodating in allowing rates for the full weekend, Friday and Saturday only, Saturday and Sunday only, and Saturday only. What to bring: Camp Galilee provides all designated meals and an evening snack. Campers are required to bring their own bedding (sheets, pillow cases, etc.), toiletries (soap, shampoo, towels, facecloths, etc.), personal grooming items, etc. As for sports, campers will be required to bring their own skates, hockey sticks, toboggans, cross country skis, snow shoes, hiking boots, etc.
